Client: English Heritage
In 2017, the interpretation at Portchester Castle was updated and new sculptural exhibits and interpretation elements were installed throughout several floors of the keep and around the grounds. The aim was to tell the stories of the prisoners-of-war held at the castle and on nearby prison ships during the Napoleonic wars.
Cod Steaks Ltd in Bristol were awarded the design, build and installation of this project whilst I was working there. I was lead 2D designer for the project from the very beginning, working closely with the 3D design and construction teams at Cod Steaks as well as curators, historians and others at English Heritage.
